Kids Protection Plans®
Including your child(ren) in your Will and selecting godparents is not enough to protect them in the event of your incapacity or death. Without the proper plan in place, a court will decide who gains custody of your minor children.
The Kids Protection Plan empowers you to select guardians you trust and include specific instructions for their education and upbringing. If necessary, this plan can explicitly exclude individuals who you would not want to care for your child from taking custody.
Without a Plan
If you do not have a plan for what will happen to your child(ren) in the event of your death or incapacity, the state has one for you and a judge will designate a guardian on your behalf. This guardian, who can be someone you'd never choose or even a stranger, will then be able to raise your child(ren) as they see fit, determining their education, values, and future.
Kids Protection Plan
Our Kids Protection Plan enables you to designate temporary and permanent legal guardians for your children and ensure that your wishes are honored for the safety, values, and comfort for your children. This Plan works with your Estate, Trust, & Legacy Plan to clearly and carefully determine the way your children will be raised, including who will care for them, what assets will be allocated to their care, and how the guardians you select will raise your children.
